How much will my Custom Home cost?
We typically advise our clients to budget $160 per square foot of finished living space. $160 per square foot will provide a reasonable budget for choosing above average finishes.
Our approach is to assist you in creating a design that fits within your budget. Once a set of blueprints is created, we will guide you through finish selections well befor construction begins. Once finishes have been chosen, a fixed contract is created specifically for your project. This assures that you receive the best price to build.
Why use a designer to plan your project?

In fact, utilizing a qualified designer can save you thousands of dollars in the long run by identifying design ideas and functionality well before construction begins. In most instances, city and county municipalities are requiring a detailed set of plans prior to issuing the required permits.
How to begin - description of the process:
When a propective client requests a free in-home consultation, our designer will schedule an appointment to review the vialbility of the project, make design suggestions, assist with establishing a budget and answer preliminary questions. The designer will also indicate, during that visit, the nominal investment required to begin drawing up "construction documents". The first step is to create 3 dimensional computer renderings that shows your new custom home design. The design is continually updated and changed based on your input and approval. Once design approval is given, we will then provide a "fixed cost" detailed proposal for completing your project as designed. This process keeps our clients in the driver's seat, provides the most control and options and gives our clients time to make important decisions and an opportunity to get to know our team prior to commiting to the project in its entirety.
